KAYAK & SIDESTEP : If you are looking for cheap flights, airline ticket and a hotel head to Kayak.com or SIDESTEP. KAYAK pulls data from Airfare.com, Vayama, Hotwire Expedia and Travelocity where SIDESTEP also pulls from over 600 airlines and hundreds of sites. SIDESTEP has nifty tools and is no less powerful than Kayak. Both companies are one now but they have evolved differently and there are features you can find from one site that is not available on the other. I like the Airport guide feature at SIDESTEP but I regularly use Kayak. Think of it as a Mall where all your travel needs are met.

TripAdvisor.com I like to read the reviews of particular hotel or airline before I book and buy. I found the reviews at TripAdvisor.com. I found them so useful that I decided to contribute and as a result I pay close attention when I am traveling for customer service.

Hotels.com: The name says it all. I found when I book through hotels.com, the room is usually is better than expected. I am not sure if I am superstitious here or they show more respect to hotels.com customers.

AirBnB: The economy is not doing great and we cannot all afford expensive hotel. AirBnB comes to the rescue. Their motto says it all “Travel like Human” you actually rent and stay with real people. Hey if you don’t mind living and renting from real person, why not give a try.

Nextstop: Why travel if you are not seeing places the locals recommend. The people who actually live there recommend the best places. The website says it all ”Share what you love to do near where you live. Discover places other people love all over the world.”
